Because of that, Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment had to then delay the Switch port due to the sudden changeup in work patterns and the unknown. The Outer Worlds Nintendo Switch release date was put on hold back in March when COVID-19 reached a global scale and quarantines were being put into effect.
